Faridabad, 16 May (Mahesh Gupta): Intra Class Robotics competitionwas conducted at SRS International School on Sunday, May 15, 2016. A total of 182 students from Pre-nursery, Nursery and K.G participated in the event which was held in association with NeoRobos. The chief objective of the event was to help develop the cognitive and psycho-motor domain of learning of the young ones. It also helped enhance the listening and comprehension skills of the students. Students of Pre-nursery had been allotted the task of building a tower by picking and sorting the building blocks of a specified colour. Nursery and K.G. students were assigned the tasks of hitting the target and identification of geometrical shapes of the specified colour. They also had to provide instructions to the bee bot for navigation in the specified direction. The highlight of the competition was the prize distribution ceremony wherein the school Director, Mr. VinayGoyal applauded the efforts of the young winners as well as learners and motivated them to keep on working on the path of success. The Principal Ms. Deepika Sharma, further boosted the morale of the students in her speech by lauding the efforts of the students as well as their parents and promised to provide more and more opportunities in the future which will help develop their learning skills. The participants praised the efforts of the school for providing an environment conducive to learning and development of all the domains of learning.
