Faridabad, 21 May (Naveen Gupta): Each one Train one” said Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President Haryana State Productivity Council at the conclusion of 3-day Training Programme and distribution of Certificates of Participation to 35 successful Trainees who learnt the ‘Basic First-Aid’ skills and methods of Accident Prevention. First-Aid skills come to your rescue. Such skills are not taught as a part of regular study curriculum and are better learned by the employees in specialized and focused Training Programmes. Mr. Malhotra advised the participants to keep the First-Aid Reference Book given to them handy so that if some disaster happens in their absence, their colleagues can take some remedial steps and shift the patient to a nearby hospital for extensive treatment.
Sh. B.B. Kathuria Astt. Secretary Red Cross Society Faridabad advised the participants to maintain the First-Aid Boxes. Mr. Rattan Singh Azad, the trained Faculty said that you are only First-Aid providers not doctors. Just give First-Aid to see that Accident victim can be shifted to ESIC in an appropriate way as soon as possible.
Mr. P.K. Singh, Executive Director HSPC informed that we had to restrict the number of participants to make the learning practical, interactive and effective. As such HSPC will organise one such programme in near future as approved by President Sh. J.P. Malhotra. The Training was conducted by Red Cross Society and St. John’s Ambulance whose Dr. Rajesh Batra examined the ‘First-Aid’ knowledge gained by the participants.
