Faridabad, 27 June (Naveen Gupta): BharatiyaYuva Shakti Trust (BYST) organized a Youth Empowerment Meet (Get together) at Magpie as a part of its “BYST-IFCI Youth Entrepreneurship Development Programme” (BYST-IFCI YEDP). Prominent industrialists/doctors/lawyers/bankers of Faridabad addressed the meet inspiring the young budding entrepreneurs on how to be self relient & produce Quality products. The event was organized to commemoratethe success of “BYST-IFCI YEDP” in Faridabad & motivate the young entrepreneurs to stand on their feet in the competitive  environments

BYST is a non-profit organization that primarily assists the disadvantaged Indian youths in developing business ideas into viable enterprises under the guidance of experienced professionals as mentors, with the main objective of turning job seekers into job creators. BYST  supportsyoung entrepreneurs from underprivileged sections of society by supplementing financing based on the requirement assessment done by the mentor selectors, Rs. 5 lakhs being the present average and with an upper limit of up to Rs.1crore. BYST is running its operations in Faridabad in the project titled “BYST-IFCI YEDP” with 100% funding assistance from IFCI Ltd. (Industrial Financial Corporation of India Ltd.), a Govt. of India Undertaking.

Major General S.K.Datt, Chairman of Strategic Committee Meeting of BYST welcomed the participants, motivated them and updated the entrepreneurs about the various activities of BYST in Faridabad.

Mr. S.N. Dua, Chairman of Chapter Meeting of BYSTspoke about business values & ethics.Mr. R.K. Wadhwa, Chairman of MAP Committee of BYSTgave presentation on the mentoring process in BYST.

Mr. Ravi Wig, Chairman NRDC and Mr. T.C. Garg, AGM SBI-SMECC were the guest speakers who spoke about the need of the day to help startup entrepreneurs.

Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President DLF Industries Association summed up the proceedings of the day instilled confidence to the entrepreneurs and advised them to deliver Quality Products.

Mr. Mohan Singh, Director, Hind Hydraulics and Engineers, a Senior Mentor extorted  the participants  to work hard & observe ethics to face competition and thanked all present  for sparing their valuable time to join the BYST team.

Prominent among those present were Dr. Savita Datt, Col. Gopal Singh,Sharad Mahindra, AnjanaMehra, K.S. Dubey, S.K. Sachdeva, MukeshGambhir, MeenaSirohi, P.P. Popli, Vinay Agarwal, R.P. Kapoor besides 125 entrepreneurs whom BYST is helping to start their own enterprises & contribute to Make in India.
