Productivity Enhancement by 7 QC Tools @ HSPC

Faridabad, 23 July (Naveen Gupta): Use of Productivity enhancement tools and technology will every time reduce cost of products and services resulting in increase market share and rise in profits, said Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President Haryana State Productivity Council in his presidential address at the Half-Day Workshop on Productivity Enhancement “7 QC Tools – Problem Solving Technology” organised by HSPC. Use of Productivity initiatives such as 5S, The 7 Wastes, Benchmarking, Knowledge Management, Quality Circles, 3Rs, 7Ms, is the need of the hour if ‘Make in India’ has to succeed, said Mr. Malhotra. There is no end to improvement.

Sh. Ajai Joneja, MD Joneja Bright Steel inaugurated the Seminar and urged the participants to look into Quality Cost and Delivery of their products. Quality has to be in the process and mindset of employees. Urging the enterprises to take benefit of such focused Training Seminars which aim at Productivity enhancement, he profusely praised the course content of the seminar organised by HSPC under the Presidentship of Sh. J.P. Malhotra and his Team. He suggested that all the Industry Associations of Faridabad should take advantage of HSPC Training activities.

Sh. G.C Narang, Imm. Past President HSPC in his message emphasised the Team Work and positive attitude amongst the Production and QC Teams.

Sh. H.L. Bhutani, Sr. Vice President in his remarks stressed the need of Training saying that there is no shortcut to learning. Sh. R.K. Chilana and Sh. D.K. Bhati, SBM NSIC gave valuable tips to the participants.

Half-day Training Programme was conducted by Sh. S.K. Kalraiya, Chief Trainer Colt & Grow who dealt in detail the specific 7 QC Tools namely Check Sheet, Pareto Diagram, Fish Bone Diagram, Scatter Diagram, Control Charts, Graphs and Flow Diagrams, Stratification and Histogram and created awareness on how to use this pictorial presentation of QC Tools in the Industry.

QC senior personnel from companies like Imperial Auto Industries, Neo Institute of Quality Management, Rebbon Isosystems, Shivani Locks, Kartik Electornics, Bhartiya Valves      Pvt. Ltd., Sage Metals, The Printers House, SG Metal, SG Industries, SGS Engineering Works, Zenner Aquamet etc. attended the Training Workshop which provided a deep insight to the Quality Issues and Tools and would ultimately usher an era of cost reduction, consistent Quality and customer delight.

Among those present at the inaugural session were S/Sh. G.C. Narang, D.K. Bhatia, SBM NSIC, Sanjay Wadhawan, R.K. Chilana, K.K. Narula, A.N. Sharma, P.K. Singh, Executive Director HSPC, Sanjiv Aggarwal, J.P. Tripathi and many others. Mr. J.P. Malhotra thanked all the participants and the managements who deputed their employees for upgrading of the         QC Skills. The programme resulted in Skilling of participants in QC regime.
