फरीदाबाद, 4 नवम्बर (नवीन गुप्ता): आज नौजवानों के समक्ष अनेक प्रकार की समस्याएं और चुनौतियां हैं जिनके समाधान के लिए ड्यूक ऑफ एडनवर्ग द्वारा प्रायोजित अवार्ड इंटरनेशनल एसोसिएशन द्वारा नई दिल्ली में अवार्ड लीडर ट्रेनिंग वर्कशाप आयोजित की गई। इस वर्कशाप में अनेक प्रंातों से आए प्रतिभागियों के साथ फरीदाबाद स्थित हॉमर्टन ग्रामर स्कूल से गिरिराज सिंह तथा श्रीमती मारिशा जैन नागपाल ने प्रतिनिधित्व किया। अवार्ड ट्रेनिंग सैंटर नई दिल्ली ने स्कूलों, शिक्षा प्रतिष्ठानों आदि के प्रतिनिधि में क्षमता वृद्वि के लिए अपने कुछ कार्यक्रम शिक्षकों के लिए आयोजित किए जिससे वो आज के नौजवानों को सही समय पर उचित मार्गदर्शन कर सकें। यह वर्कशॉप दो दिनों तक चली।
अवार्ड प्रोग्राम में दक्षता, सेवा, शारीरिक क्षमता वृद्वि और रोमांचक यात्राओं जैसी परिकल्पनाओं पर गंभीर विचार प्रस्तुत किए गए। ऐसी परियोजनाओं में होने वाली बाधाओं और उनके निराकरण प्रबंधन पर भी परिचर्चा हुई। इस परिचर्चा कार्यक्रम में मुख्य भूमिका राष्ट्रीय निदेशक (अवार्ड लीडर ट्रेनिंग वर्कशॉप) कपिल भल्ला तथा बिव्युजित मुखोती (कार्यक्रम प्रबंधक) की रही। कार्यक्रम के अंत में सभी को प्रशंसा तथा भागीदारी प्रमाण पत्र भी प्रदान किए गए।

Faridabad, 4 November (Naveen Gupta): Homerton Grammar School, Sector 21A Faridabad, participatedin an Award Leader Training workshop recently organised by The International Award for Young People, India at the Award Training Center, New Delhi to guide the potential Award Leaders, i.e. teachers of schools, institutions, etc., about the philosophy, framework and functioning of the Award Programme. The programme is run by The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Association (IAA) based in London.
The International Award for Young People (IAYP) is the most adaptable and successful youth empowerment program. The purpose of the programme attended by the teachers is to help them be Award leaders with the purpose of youth development and inclusion. It identifies hard issues and challenges associated with youth.
The workshop was conducted over two days, with about 14 participants from different institutions across India including Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh to name a few. Two teachers, Mr. Giriraj Singh and Mrs. Marisha Jain Nagpal represented Homerton Grammar School, Faridabad at the IAYP Award Training.
The workshop began with the participants introducing themselves to the group and what drove them to attend this workshop. This was followed with a brief introduction of the Award, its philosophy, advantages and how the volunteers can play an important role in the Award Programme. The participants were given detailed knowledge regarding the four sections of the Programme i.e. Skills, Service, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey and also the Residential Project for the Gold level. In addition to that, they were made aware of the risk profiles and its management. The potential Award Leaders were made thorough with the guidelines and framework of The Award Programme before implementing in their own institutions.
The workshop delivered by Kapil Bhalla (National Director), Bivujit Mukhoty (Programme Manager) included interactive and fun learning sessions to engross the Award Leaders. The workshop concluded with the presentation of participation certificates to the participants by Kapil Bhalla, National Director of the programme.
