Greater Faridabad, 31 August: To commemorate the birth of Lord Krishna, the Pre-Primary wing of Modern Delhi Public School, Greater Faridabad celebrated Janmasthami with great pomp and festivity. The children dressed in traditional attire added flavors to the celebration with an array of competitions like Solo Dance and Role Play. They also visited ‘Iskcon Temple’ and danced to bhajans and devotional songs. The temple echoed with the chanting mantras and ‘Govind Bolo’ song sung by the little ones.
The young Modern Despites concluded the festive celebrations by presenting a Tableau-Krishna Leelayain depicting events from Krishna’s Life like ‘Krishna Janam’, ‘Krishna GokulAagman’, ‘Yamuna Sparsh’, ‘MakhanChor’, ‘KaaliaNaag Daman’, ‘Raslila’ and ‘KansVadh’. The young angels attired as Lord Krishna, Vasudeva, Devaki, Yashodha, Radha, Sudama, Gopi’s and Kansa brought alive Vrindavan and Mathura.
The Chairman Mr. Rajeev Girdhar applauded the efforts of teachers and students for putting up an exuberant show.
