ग्रेटर फरीदाबाद, 23 नवम्बर: मॉडर्न दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल के वर्ष 2018-19 के छात्र पदाधिकारियों का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह स्कूल के भव्य प्रांगण में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि पहुुंचे जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति दीपक गुप्ता के सान्निध्य में संपन्न हुआ। मुख्य अतिथि के कर-कमलों द्वारा दीप प्रज्ज्वलन किया गया तथा संगीतमय उद्वबोधन नृत्य एवं वृंदगान से कार्यक्रम का मंच तैयार हुआ। इस अवसर पर स्कूल के चेयरमैन राजीव गिरधर ‘गोल्डीÓ ने मुख्य अतिथि का स्वागत किया।
स्वागत भाषण में निदेशक प्राचार्य ने मुख्य अतिथि के व्यक्तित्व एवं कृतित्व से श्रोताओं को अवगत कराया तथा नवगठित छात्र पदाधिकारियों को अपना कर्तव्य संपूर्ण निष्ठा एवं निष्पक्ष भाव से निभाने हेतु प्रेरित किया।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि न्यायाधीश न्यायमूर्ति दीपक गुप्ता ने छात्र पदाधिकरियों को शपथ दिलाई एवं आगामी जिम्मेदारी हेतु शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने अपने भाषण में शिक्षा संस्थान के योगदान को रेखांकित करते हुए शिक्षा क्षेत्र में विशिष्ट योगदान का उल्लेख किया। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों में ओ हेनरी रचित एकांकी द लास्ट लीफ के अभिनय ने दर्शकों में उदारता, त्याग तथा नि:स्वार्थ भावों का रोपण किया। विविधरंगी हरियाणा शीर्षक जोशपूर्ण लोकनृत्य ने सभी को भाव-विभोर कर दिया।
मॉडर्न दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, सेक्टर-87 के कुल 261 विद्यार्थियों को आज के समारोह में शपथ दिलवाई गई। हेड बॉय एवं हेड गर्ल ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया तथा राष्ट्र गान से कार्यक्रम का समापन हुआ।
Swearing-in ceremony of the student office bearers of Modern Delhi Public School

Greater Faridabad, 23 November: Modern Delhi Public School solemnized its 12th Investiture ceremony with grit and grandeur. The Chief Guest for the ceremony was Justice Deepak Gupta, District and Sessions Judge, Faridabad. The programme commenced with a lively orchestra followed by the lamp lighting. Melodious notes of the choir set off the tone for the event followed by rhythmic beats of the invocation dance. Director Principal extended a warm and hearty welcome to the Chief Guest and the august gathering and appreciated his diligence in his field, his sobriety and humility. He also motivated the Students’ Council to uphold the dignity of their office with utmost zeal and sincerity. The flag ceremony was conducted wherein the outgoing members of the students’ council proudly handed over their charge to the new office bearers. The students’ council was sworn in by the chief guest. A total of 261 students from Modern Delhi Public School, Sec. 87 were decorated with their respective sashes, badges and certificates. This was indeed a moment of pride for the school and the parents who were there to witness this wonderful ceremony.
A play ‘The Last Leaf’ by O. Henry was enacted by the students highlighting the values of generosity, sacrifice and selflessness that a leader must possess. The programme culminated with an invigorating folk dance performance ‘Vibrant Hues of Haryana’. The Chief Guest was mighty impressed by the entire ceremony and praised the school, staff and the students for their spirited efforts. He spoke highly of the school and theits achievements in varied fields of education. Also, he enthused the students to be true leaders in making.
The head boy and head girl proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony ended on a happy note. It was a moment of glory for the school, staff, students and the parents.
