Rainning Prizes for CCA at Mauritius

Gurgaon, 29 July (Naveen Gupta): The 19th International Students Quality Circle Convention was held in Mauritius from 18th to 23rd July 2016, where CCA School Team actively participated.
The concept of Quality Circles initially originated in Japan and has rapidly moved from manufacturing to services and now to educational institutions. CCA School is one of the pioneer schools in Quality Circles in the NCR Region, and is a regular participant at the QC Conventions at National and International Levels.
The venue was the St. Esprit College, Mauritius; a renowned 75 years old school in West Mauritius, set amidst lush, clean and green environs. The convention strongly underlined the need to empower the students so that they can find solutions to their problems, develop analytical skills and foster team work.
The Convention generated tremendous response with many delegates from numerous participating teams from many countries around the world. Chief among events were Case Study Presentations, Debates, Public Speaking, Poetry Recitation, Poster and Slogan Making, culminating in a colorful cultural evening showcasing the dances and tableau from different countries.
Excellence is not a one time achievement. It is a habit at CCA School. Accomplishing the impossible has been an old and cherished trend.
CCA School has engraved yet another landmark, flaunting a new addition to the sequence of accolades. CCA team notched prizes in all the competitions held there. They bagged First Position inPoster & Slogan Competition Juran Award in Case Study Presentation, Consolation prize in Debate, Poem Recitation,& Group Dance Competitions, and Third prize in Public Speaking.
Working on a Case Study not only showcases the students’ talent but also provides an opportunity to prove their caliber. It also enhances their confidence, analytical ability and skills in problem solving.
The excellent vision of the Chairman Col. Kr. Pratap Singh & the out of the box approach of Principal Mrs. Nirmal Yadav have proved that an amalgam of responsibility, diligence, versatility translates into quality amongst students and ultimately leads to a total quality person.
