New Delhi: The Rotary Club of Delhi Megapolis conducted its Installation ceremony of President 2017- 18 Rtn Ajit Singh at the prestigious India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road with grace and grandeur.
DG Rtn Ravi Choudhury was the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour were DGE Rtn Vinay Bhatia, DGN Rtn Suresh Bhasin, IPDG Rtn DR. N. Subramanian and SSSDC Chairman Kunwar Vikram Singh.
Respected Rotarians from District 3011 Team like Rtn Ashok Kantoor, Rtn Mahesh Trikha, Rtn Gyaninder Sachdev, Rtn Anil Sachdev, Rtn Ajeet Jalan and many others including Presidents of various clubs were present in full strength. All were accompanied by their gracious spouses.
President Ajit Singh was presented the Club charter and collared with this coveted honour. He also announced his new team in the Club Board and Committee Chairmen. He then presented his vision and goals during his tenure. DG Ravi Choudhury and others complimented President Ajit Singh’s clear vision and appreciated his quiet yet effective working style in order to strengthen the club and the Rotary movement in general. The dignitaries speeches and Secretary report showcased the Club’s past activities and the future goals.
A few new members were introduced and pinned as Rotarians. The existing members were all gathered as show of strength, support and solidarity notably Club Trainer Rtn Vikram Sahny, Rtn Ravi Dayal, Treasurer Rtn D K Saxena, Secretary Rtn Manoj Srivastava.
The salient feature of Club Megapolis is the active participation of the ladies RotaryAnnes. This was very much visible during the entire implementation of the ceremony. Right from orange/ saffron as theme colour representing Valour to the registration, Hall decor, National Anthem, Lighting of lamp with Ganesh Vandana, pleasant and efficient Masters of Ceremony, thanking and presenting tokens of appreciation, live rendition of motivational song, the delightful light music session at the end with song and dance and great hospitality. Indeed MEGAPOLIS!

नई दिल्ली : रोटरी क्लब ऑफ दिल्ली मैगापॉलिस द्वारा अपना इंस्टालेशन समारोह लोधी रोड़ स्थित हेबिटेट सैंटर में धूम-धाम से मनाया गया। समारोह में अजीत सिंह की प्रेजीडेंटशिप में नई टीम का गठन किया गया। रोटरी के डिस्ट्रिक गवर्नर रवि चौधरी कार्यक्रम में चीफ गेस्ट के रूप में मौजूद थे जबकि अध्यक्षता डीजीई विनय भाटिया ने की। डीजीएन सुरेश भसीन तथा स्किल काऊंसिल के चेयरमैन कुंवर विक्रम सिंह गेस्ट ऑफ ऑनर के तौर पर मौजूद थे।
समारोह में क्लब के पुराने प्रेजीडेंट ने क्लब चार्टर नए प्रेजीडेंट अजीत सिंह को सौंपा। नए प्रधान अजीत सिंह ने अपने संबोधन में अपने कार्यकाल में किए जाने वाले प्रोजेक्ट्स व गोल्स को लेकर अपना विजन पेश किया।
इस अवसर पर डीजी रवि चौधरी ने कहा कि क्लब के हर मेम्बर को अधिकार है कि वे प्रेजीडेंट एंड टीम से एक-एक पैसे का हिसाब मांगे और जो प्रोजेक्ट कमिट किए है उनको पूरा करने की बात करे। उन्होंने अजीत सिंह के क्लीयर विजन की प्राशंसा की। इस इंस्टालेशन समारोह में चंद नए मैम्बरों को भी क्लब में शामिल किया गया।
समारोह की खास बात यह रही कि इस इंस्टॉलेशन समारोह की सारी तैयारियां क्लब की महिलाओं ने की ना कि रोटरी सदस्यों ने।
क्लब प्रेजिडेंट अजीत सिंह ने अपनी टीम में सेक्रेटरी मनोज श्रीवास्तव तथा कोषाध्यक्ष डी.के. सक्सेना को लिया है।
इस समारोह में रोटरी के डिस्ट्रिक एडमन अशोक कंटूर, ऋतु चौधरी, क्लब के रवि दयाल, विक्रम साहनी आदि रोटेरियंस विशेष तौर पर शामिल हुए।
